Brian and I had planned to met Marissa and Jeremy in Half Moon Bay on a beautiful day in Half Moon Bay.  As we were pulling up to a favorite spot of mine in Moss Beach, we were welcomed with a whole lot of FOG!!  We had a little extra time since we got there early so we thought we would go look for some SUN!  I knew that Marissa and Jeremy had their heart sets on some beautiful sun lit warm photos by a beach, and I hated to disappoint.  So off we set to find some sun, any sun!!  We found some a short drive from Moss Beach, so I messaged Marissa: Meet us behind this restaurant  in a vacant lot to start our session!

I can only imagine what was going through their heads when the location changed from a gorgeous beach to a vacant lot behind a restaurant. Fortunately, they didn’t let me see any doubts, and proceeded to be completely adorable.  Right there in a vacant lot.  I honestly could have been happy with what we got right there in that sunlight, but the fog started creeping over to meet us, so we decided to go to Moss Beach and play in some fog.  Oh how happy I was to finally get to shoot in some moody fog!  You can see for yourself how that turned out.  At the end you can see one of my favorite silhouettes ever!  I do have a silhouette obsession.

The energy these two had together was infectious.  In no time all four of us were giggling and having so much fun.  I cannot wait until their wedding!
