It is always an honor when a friend refers me to their friends and family.  That shows a level of trust and confidence that humbles me.  It also almost always works out that I ADORE the couples that were referred.  Perhaps it is because birds of feather flock together?  Their friends are like my friends… and my friends are awesome!   So when my friend Maile referred me to Taylor and James, I knew this was going to be a great wedding!

We also had the pleasure of shooting at a venue we’ve never been to!  I was so impressed with the views and setting of The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose, I can’t wait to get to shoot there again!  Nicole and the staff were so gracious, including a private tour of the grounds in a golf cart while hunting for the perfect spots!  That may or may not have been my favorite part of the day!  But seriously check out this background!!

But of course the real beauty comes in the moments and the love showing throughout the day.  Families joining, and getting to hear stories about how the couple met.  Funny stories of candy rooms at movie theaters… things like that.  Such a joy for me to experience this almost every weekend.  Plus, I get to look at pretty things ALL THE TIME!!
