Josephina and Alex met Brian and I in Golden Gate park recently for their engagement session. They were up for basically anything so we just started walking around looking for light.  Couples ask all the time where the best location for photos are, and I tell them it changes daily, and you won’t really know until we are there.  Great light can happen anywhere.  Engagement photos are about the couple, their connection, and of course light is what will make the image shine.  When couples like Josephina and Alex trust you, and don’t raise an eyebrow when you ask them to run across a street for what looks like an undesirable patch of grass, you wind up with some amazing stuff.

Of course Golden Gate Park has no shortage of beautiful spots for photos, and we made great use of those too.  My favorite part however, is when we went down to the piers later that evening for some night shots.  I can say we had more than a few concerned looks as I laid down right in front of a puddle on a San Francisco sidewalk.  Reflections are always worth it!
